Field trips help in improving students social and interactive skills. They provide an opportunity for the students to learn outside the confines of the regular classroom. This helps students in developing their Linguistic, Logical and Interpersonal skills. They provide a great learning experience to students through observation.

As a part of field trip, Class 4 students of Ramadevi Public School visited Masqati Dairy near Turkyamjal, Hyderabad on 28th October 2024. It was a joyous 20 minutes journey from our school to Masqati Dairy. On reaching the Dairy we were given head caps which was mandatory to wear before entering into the Dairy.

We were taken to different units of dairy, first we were taken to the production unit where the supervisor explained in detail about how the milk is being processed and packed. Here the students learnt about the process of homogenization and pasteurization. Then we went to another unit where Ghee was processed. Later we visited the third unit where the flavored milk is prepared and bottled. Finally, we reached the ice cream unit, here the students were briefed about the process involved in the preparation of yummy ice cream. We tasted the butterscotch and the flavoured milk which we relished the most.

After enjoying the ice cream and flavoured milk, we boarded our buses to return to school it was really a great experience of learning for the students. This field trip helped students in broadening their educational experience and gives them exposure to the outside world.
