On 7th February 2025, in the morning session Classes 4 & 5 organized an orientation program on parenthood, this poignant session aimed to help students understand the selfless love, countless sacrifices, and unwavering dedication that parents make to provide them with a comfortable and prosperous life, often putting their own needs and desires on the backburner. The event was graced by our School Principal Mrs Qamar Sultana, Primary Academic Coordinator Mrs Roopa, teachers and students.
Students from grade 3,4 & 5 participated, showcasing their unique talent and skills. The talent show featured a diverse range of performances, including singing, Taekwondo, instrumental music, Shloka recitation , magic show, mimicry and Abacus. The showstopper was Master Vijay Nandan from Class 4D, who left the audience spellbound with his breathtaking brilliant and playing of the drums. His infectious energy and impressive rhythmic skills stole the hearts of everyone present, earning him a thunderous applaus. A Celebration of Creativity and Talent was a resounding success, showcasing the incredible talent of our students.
1. POOKALAM MAKING
Students created beautiful pookalams (traditional Indian floral designs) using natural materials (flowers) promoting creativity and sustainability.
2. JAM Session
Students participated in a lively JAM session where they shared their thoughts and ideas. Students learn to communicate effectively , sharing ideas and foster creativity.
1. Creative writing:
A picture was displayed and students expressed their creativity through writing short stories and essays. The bag free environment helped in promoting a relaxed atmosphere. Students developed essential skills such as Communication, Critical thinking.
2. Poster Making:
The theme of the competition was to 'Save Water'.
Students showcased their creativity and talent through posters. This activity reinforced the importance of saving water and encouraged students to take small steps to make a big difference.
1. Paper Bags :
Students brought coloured papers ,old newspapers and a variety of craft materials and were challenged to transform their bags into unique and creative designs.
Making paper bags not only developed their fine motor skills but also taught them to learn about the importance of reusing paper to reduce waste as a environmental responsibility.
Inspirational videos were screened to educate students about the disadvantages of using mobile phones and other moral based stories.
“The Apple” An Award winning Tale of a young boy realizing the importance of food movie presentation was shown to the students. This really helped them not to waste food .Everyone should feed one person, so that no one should sleep hungry. It was really a heart touching and very relevant film for the present day scenario. Overall, the movie presentation was a great way to teach students valuable life lessons and inspire them to become innovative thinkers and problem-solvers. No Bag Day was a resounding success, showcasing our students' creativity, talent, and commitment to sustainability. It provided the students, with a unique opportunity to engage in interactive and enjoyable activities.
