Protecting our environment is protecting ourselves.

Ramadevi Public School observed No Bag Day on 25th July, 2025 with the theme ‘Eco Day ‘. A special assembly was conducted on this day to raise the awareness of environmental conservation .

The program started with a welcome note by our Academic Coordinator Mrs Lavanya Latha setting a tone for an engaging and informative session ahead.

Riyanshi of class V B shared a thought emphasizing the importance of Eco Day.

Chandra Sasya of class V E delivered a speech highlighting the significance of environmental conservation and sustainable practices. A melodious song about the importance of trees was performed by students under the guidance of our music instructor Mr Vivekananda. A group of students presented a thought provoking skit about the renowned environmental activist Greta Thunberg emphasizing the role of young minds in driving the positive change. Next it was a ramp walk segment to inspire students to learn from these environmental activists their dedication and passion for protecting the planet. A vibrant dance themed around the importance of trees was performed. A meaningful Eco pledge where students collectively promised to adopt environmental friendly habits in their daily life. Our beloved Principal mam Mrs Qamar Sultana addressed the students applauding their efforts on the performances in bringing the Eco Day a success. Mrs Padma concluded the assembly with a vote of thanks expressing the gratitude to all the participants and attendees.

The special assembly aimed to educate and inspire students to take steps in conserving our beautiful nature.
