Investiture Ceremony 2026

On 21st July 2026, the front field of Ramadevi Public School came alive with pride, discipline, and youthful energy as the school hosted its annual Investiture Ceremony. Aptly titled “The Legacy Begins”, the event marked the formal induction of student leaders from Classes 9 and 10.

The ceremony commenced with the assembling of students, guided by class teachers and the PET department. The arrival of the chief guest, Dr. Ravi Chandrasekhar, Trustee of Ramadevi Public School, was met with a warm welcome and the dignified salute of NCC escorts.

Mrs. B. Poojitha, Academic Coordinator, opened the proceedings with a heartfelt note: “Leadership is not about titles, but about action. Today, we entrust our students with the responsibility to inspire and serve.”

The General Salute and NCC pledge, led by Mr. Parasuram, NCC Chief Officer, set a disciplined tone. House Masters and the PET department conferred badges and responsibilities upon the newly elected prefects, as the Principal, Mrs. Qamar Sultana, reminded students: “A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.”

The oath-taking ceremony followed, with student leaders pledging to uphold honesty, dedication, and service. Head Boy Master Utkarsh and Head Girl Miss Gayathri Akshara addressed the gathering with confidence, speaking of shouldering responsibility with humility and honouring their badges with integrity.

The chief guest, Dr. Chandrasekhar, inspired students with his words: “Leadership is a legacy. What you begin today will echo in the corridors of this school for years to come.” The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem, sung with pride by all present.
