International Day of Yoga
Since 2015, June 21 has been celebrated worldwide as the International Day of Yoga, following its proposal by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the United Nations. The date, marking the summer solstice, symbolizes light, energy, and renewal.
The 2025 theme, “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” emphasized the bond between personal wellness and planetary sustainability, reminding us that caring for ourselves is inseparable from caring for our environment.
NCC Cadets Lead the Way
At Ramadevi Public School, the NCC cadets commemorated the 11th International Day of Yoga with discipline and enthusiasm under the able guidance of Chief Officer Tumuluri Parasuram, ANO RPS. The session began with a prayer’Sangha Chadvam Samvadadvam,” invoking unity and harmony. The encouraging words of our beloved Principal Mrs. Qamar Sultana added fragrance of inspiration to the occasion.
