As part of our Independence Day celebrations, a series of creative competitions were conducted in our school to classes 9 & 10 students on 14th August 2024, to engage students in activities that promote patriotism and artistic expression. The events included Bookmark Making, Poster Painting, and Classroom Decoration competitions. These activities allowed students to showcase their talents while celebrating the spirit of independence.

Students created beautiful bookmarks using national flag’s vibrant colors, creative designs, and inspirational quotes from freedom fighters are written. In Poster painting competition, students linked independence with environmental sustainability and the beauty of the nation’s landscapes. The classroom decoration competition encouraged collective participation, fostering teamwork while allowing students to creatively celebrate Independence Day. Each class decorated their room with themes reflecting India's cultural diversity, freedom struggle, and achievements since independence. Our Principal ma’am Mrs Qamar Sultana along with Mrs. Poojitha, Senior school Academic Coordinator visited each classroom to personally judge the decorations, assessing the creativity and patriotic spirit displayed by the students.

The Independence Day competitions were a tremendous success, with enthusiastic participation of students. These competitions not only allowed students to express their creativity but also deepened their understanding of India's history and cultural heritage.
