Foundational wing conducted Janmashtami celebrations on 23/08/2024. Janmashtami is a festival commemorating the birth of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu.

To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, children celebrated Janmashtami with mirth and joy. The students came dressed up as a Lord Krishna, Radha and Gopika. They were accessorized with colorful bangles, odhnis and peacock crowns to set the Janmashtami mood. School premises was decorated with colorful flower papers, flutes, Matkies , Dandiya sticks etc. Students swayed to the tunes of traditional songs.

The students were overjoyed when they broke the Matki to grace this occasion. Matki is the most ancient joyful game played and celebrated for the birth of Krishna on Janmashtami. Teachers decorated matkis with different kind of flowers, glittering papers and one rupee coin in it. Teachers instilled the value of self-worth and introspection in the students. The whole day was a delightful divine journey for the students.
