NSO was conducted for the students of classes 6 to 10 (60 students) to support and make new comers aware of the academic, cultural and social expectations. The orientation program aimed to familiarize incoming students with the campus, resources, academic policies, and student life.
Objectives of the orientation program aimed to achieve the following objectives:
The program began with a welcome address by Mary Suneela ,Academic coordinator[high school].The orientation spanned over an hour and was organised by Mrs. K. Vijaya Lakshmi, English faculty and Mrs. B. Vijaya Laxmi, Math faculty.
Orientation aimed to acquaint incoming students with valuable information about the school's layout, policies, academic expectations, extracurricular opportunitiesand communication channels. By participating in this orientation, students gained a better understanding of what to expect and were equipped with the necessary knowledge to navigate their academic journey.
The orientation covered the school policies and code of conduct. Students were informed about rules regarding behaviour, dress code, use of electronic devices, and ethical guidelines. The importance of respect, responsibility, and inclusivity in creating a positive learning environment was emphasized.Information about the various extracurricular activities available to students was provided. The school highlighted sports, co-curricular and extracurricular programs that students could join based on their interests and talents. The benefits of participation in extracurricular activities, such as developing leadership skills and fostering teamwork, were emphasized.
Elaborate Presentation covered details about school hierarchy, academic policies, campus safety, enrichment resources, student organizations and activities. The session allowed students to address concerns and seek clarification.
