On the auspicious occasion of India's Independence Day, the 8th-grade students organized a special program to honor the sacrifices of freedom fighters and to reflect on the significance of independence in our lives. This event not only served as a celebration but also as an educational experience, reinforcing the lessons learned in history class about India's struggle for freedom.

The program commenced with a warm welcome speech by Mrs. A.G.Geena Head of the Dept. of History & Civics. She emphasized the importance of Independence Day and the value of freedom, linking it to the lessons learned in their history classes.
Ms. Rithika of class 8 D, expressed how her dreams came true and described her journey from class 6 to class 8 for this Special assembly - History Day.
Mrs. Qamar Sultana, the principal, inspired the organizers with her message. Everyone needs to know the history and culture of India. Today’s students are very fortunate to have dedicated and talented teachers who teach innovatively, making history interesting. These teachers encourage students to come up with different ideas to organize many more programs, such as History Day.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks from Mrs. Rajani, Dept. Social Studies, who praised the students for their hard work and creativity. She encouraged them to carry forward the spirit of independence in their daily lives by being responsible citizens.
She also expressed her gratitude to the esteemed Principal, Academic coordinator, class teachers of grades 7 and 8, the music instructor, the dance instructor and the technical support team for their continued support in making this event successful.
The Independence Day celebration by Class 8 was a resounding success, showcasing the students' dedication and enthusiasm. Many students expressed feeling more connected to their nation and were inspired by the sacrifices made for independence.
